G. K. White was born in Texas in 1991 and raised by two amazing parents who, by reading to him, created a love for stories and myths. As a kid, they had to work hard to pry his hands off the latest Redwall novel or a video game controller and convince him to eat dinner. Both obsessions carried over into his adulthood and were vital parts of his procrastination as he matriculated at the University of Houston Clear lake with a BA in English. He currently lives in western China, where he teaches English and writing when he isn’t working on his debut fantasy thriller novel The Third Gift.
